The Vista del Lago Eagles will venture away from home to face off against the Inderkum Tigers at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Vista del Lago will be strutting in after a victory while Inderkum will be coming in after a loss.

Vista del Lago had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Christian Brothers on Wednesday. The Eagles blew past the Falcons 3-0.

While Vista del Lago might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Christian Brothers scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-22, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Inderkum came up short against Christian Brothers on Monday and fell 3-1. The defeat continues a trend for the Tigers in their meetings with the Falcons: they've now lost six in a row.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Christian Brothers scored at least 17 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-17, 26-28, 25-22.

Inderkum's defeat dropped their record down to 12-17. As for Vista del Lago, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.

Everything went Vista del Lago's way against Inderkum when the teams last played back in September, as Vista del Lago made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
