Basketball Recap: Odyssey Charter School Snaps Five-Game Streak of Losses at Home

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Heritage, Odyssey Charter School was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They strolled past the Astronaut War Eagles with points to spare, taking the game 30-11. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Titans also won the last time the pair played back in January.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Odyssey Charter School to victory, but perhaps none more so than Melissa Mayfield, who posted 12 points. The dominant performance gave Mayfield a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Natalia Dejesus Bruno, who had 11 points.

Odyssey Charter School's victory ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-2.

Odyssey Charter School has already played their next game, a 37-14 loss against Cocoa Beach on the 4th. As for Astronaut, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 24-6 win against Pineapple Cove Classical Academy on the 4th.
