Volleyball Recap: Rouse Takes a Loss

Rouse was the 2-1 winner over Westlake when they last played one another back in August of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Raiders took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Chaparrals on Thursday. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Avery Ralston paced Rouse's offense, picking up eight kills. Ralston got some help from Isla Ornelas and her nine assists.

Rouse now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Westlake, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-2.

Rouse wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against La Vernia on the 21st. As for Westlake, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Steele on the 21st.
