Volleyball Game Preview: East Valley Falcons vs. Vaughn White Tigers

East Valley hasn't had much luck against Vaughn recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Falcons will welcome the White Tigers at 3:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

East Valley came up short against Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences on Thursday, falling 3-0.

While East Valley was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences' winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-17, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Vaughn came up short against Long Beach Poly on Saturday and fell 2-0. The White Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

East Valley's loss dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Vaughn, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-8.

East Valley took their victory against Vaughn in their previous matchup back in March by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Falcons repeat their success, or do the White Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
