Volleyball Game Preview: Wheatland Pirates vs. Westlake Charter Explorers

The Wheatland Pirates will challenge the Westlake Charter Explorers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Wheatland is headed into the contest having just suffered their biggest loss since February 25th on Monday. They lost 3-0 to Bear River.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-15, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Westlake Charter came into Wednesday's game having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Esparto on Wednesday. The Explorers not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since March 5th.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Westlake Charter took every set by at least 17 points. The final score came out to 25-5, 25-2, 25-8.

Wheatland's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Westlake Charter, they now have a winning record of 8-7.
