Soccer Recap: Liberty Christian Takes a Loss

Liberty Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 9-0 to the Vandalia Christian Vikings. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Vandalia Christian this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-1 on April 4th.

Liberty Christian's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Vandalia Christian, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Liberty Christian will take on Union Grove Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Liberty Christian's defense better be ready for this one: Union Grove Christian has averaged an impressive 3.7 goals per game this season. As for Vandalia Christian, they will square off against Alamance Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
