Recap: The Webb Schools Gauls vs. Silver Valley Trojans
The Webb Schools Gauls's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their third straight loss. They took a 75-60 bruising from Silver Valley. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Several Gauls players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Alec Kaushal, who scored 18 points along with five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Josef Sharifi, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
The Webb Schools has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season. As for Silver Valley, the victory (which was their 20th in a row) raised their record to 20-1.
