Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lone Star). They really took it to the Potter-Dix Coyotes for the full four quarters, racking up a 61-31 victory. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 32-11.

Lone Star's win on Thursday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Peytyn Kuntz, who went 7 of 13 to rack up 16 points and five steals. Lone Star is undefeated when Kuntz posts five or more steals, but 4-7 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Aimee Trejo, who went 5 for 9 en route to 12 points and eight boards.

The win got Lone Star back to even at 7-7. As for Potter-Dix, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-13 record this season.

Looking ahead, Lone Star will challenge Bethune at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Potter-Dix, they have already played their next game, a 53-29 defeat against Garden County on the 7th.
