Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lakota West). Everything went their way against the Middletown Middies on Tuesday as they made off with a 10-0 win. It was an even better day for Sara Newman as she scored three goals for her team.

Lakota West has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-8-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 24 goals over those five matches. As for Middletown, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-10-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Lakota West will head out to take on Fairfield at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Middletown, they will be taking part in a tournament against Lebanon at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Middletown will need to watch out since Lebanon have now posted at least four goals in their last three matchups.
