If Falls City wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Ashland-Greenwood, they should've done a better job of containing Jaycee Downing. The Ashland-Greenwood Bluejays strolled past the Falls City Tigers with points to spare on Monday, taking the game 47-32 thanks in part to Downing, who went 9-for-17 en route to 18 points along with eight boards and four steals. That's the most rebounds she has posted since back in December of 2024.

Ashland-Greenwood's record now sits at 5-18. As for Falls City, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 7-17 record this season.

Ashland-Greenwood wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, an 82-18 defeat against Lincoln Christian on the 19th. Falls City does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
