Baseball Recap: Logan-Rogersville Comes Up Short

After flying high against Aurora on Monday, Logan-Rogersville came back down to earth. The Wildcats took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Marshfield Bluejays on Tuesday. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bluejays apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Logan-Rogersville's loss dropped their record down to 25-6. As for Marshfield, they have been performing well recently as they've won 14 of their last 17 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-7 record this season.

Logan-Rogersville has already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Willard on the 15th. As for Marshfield, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, an 8-5 defeat against Republic on the 14th.
