Softball Recap: Orleans Extends Road Winning Streak to 11

Orleans won against West Washington on Wednesday with five runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. The Bulldogs narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Brownstown Central Braves 5-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Bulldogs have posted since April 8th.

Cambree Cline was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI. Chelsea Ralph was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI.

Orleans' victory was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-1. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games. As for Brownstown Central, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 4-6.
