On TuesdayAppling Christian Academy kept up with Faith Baptist Christian Academy until halftime, but afterwards: not so much. The Faith Baptist Christian Academy Crusaders put the hurt on the Appling Christian Academy Eagles with a sharp 46-26 victory. The Crusaders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 20 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Faith Baptist Christian Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Aimee Massey, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 11 rebounds. Massey continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Madison Starr was another key player, going 6 of 12 en route to 14 points and four steals.

Appling Christian Academy's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Katelyn Jarrett, who posted six points. What's more, Jarrett also racked up four boards, the most she's had since back in February of 2024. Another player making a difference was Annaleigh Carter, who scored 12 points and four steals.

Faith Baptist Christian Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 24.7 points per game. As for Appling Christian Academy, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-9.

Faith Baptist Christian Academy will welcome Wayne Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Faith Baptist Christian Academy has four straight wins, Wayne Christian Academy has five straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court. Appling Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
