Annapolis Area Christian entered their tilt with McDonogh on Tuesday with ten consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 11. They put the hurt on McDonogh with a sharp 3-0 win. Annapolis Area Christian was shut out 3-0 the last time they took on McDonogh, so Annapolis Area Christian was just returning the favor.

Annapolis Area Christian never let McDonogh on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-5, 25-14.

Scarlett Netherton paced Annapolis Area Christian's offense, picking up 12 kills. Netherton got some help from Dakota Pentorn and her 22 assists. Netherton was also solid from the service line: she led the team with nine aces.

Annapolis Area Christian's victory bumped their record up to 16-2. As for McDonogh, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.
