Basketball Recap: Make It Five in a Row for La Salle Institute

La Salle Institute came tearing into Tuesday's contest with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 22.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Mohonasen Warriors as they made off with a 79-56 win. The Cadets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 21 points or more this season.

La Salle Institute has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season. As for Mohonasen, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. La Salle Institute won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Cohoes at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. La Salle Institute knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matchups -- so hopefully Cohoes likes a good challenge.
