Soccer Game Preview: Orion/Sherrard vs. Dunlap

The Orion/Sherrard United will take on the Dunlap Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Orion/Sherrard's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Orion/Sherrard played against East Peoria on Saturday and won via forfeit.

Dunlap will head out to face Orion/Sherrard after giving up their first home loss of the season on Thursday. The Eagles fell 2-0 to Glenwood. Nick Lubenduka was hit with a yellow card, which may have had some impact on his (and the team's) ability to make aggressive plays.

Dunlap's loss dropped their record down to 16-3-3. As for Orion/Sherrard, their win bumped their record up to 5-7-4.
