Basketball Recap: Rock Creek Academy Comes Up Short

Rock Creek Academy played a tough game on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by the Christian Academy Warriors and fell 56-29. The Lions were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 30-10.

Christian Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Carly Stevens, who posted 11 points in addition to six rebounds and five assists. Another player making a difference was Leah Stevens, who had 16 points and eight rebounds.

Rock Creek Academy is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7. As for Christian Academy, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-7.

Rock Creek Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Southwestern at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Southwestern will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Rock Creek Academy surely won't give up without a fight. As for Christian Academy, they are taking a road trip to take on South Central at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
