Softball Recap: Scotland/Menno Gets the Win

Scotland/Menno proved they can win big on Monday (they won by six) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-5 win over Freeman/Marion/Freeman Academy. The Trappers haven't had any issues with Freeman/Marion/Freeman Academy recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Scotland/Menno's win bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Freeman/Marion/Freeman Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-10-1 record this season.

Scotland/Menno has already played their next contest (against Viborg/Hurley), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Freeman/Marion/Freeman Academy, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on McCook Central/Montrose at 4:00 p.m. on the 23rd.
