Volleyball Recap: Pendleton County Snaps Six-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Pendleton County suffered their biggest defeat since September 11th on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to the East Hardy Cougars. If the Wildcat were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Cougars when the teams met back in December of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-12, 25-16.

Colbie Wimer paced Pendleton County's offense, picking up seven kills. Wimer got some help from Carolyn Varner and her nine assists. Finally, Kinsley Price kept Pendleton County's defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.

Pendleton County's loss ended a six-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-7. As for East Hardy, their record now sits at 11-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Pendleton County will venture away from home to square off against Paw Paw at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for East Hardy, they will take on Jefferson at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
