Volleyball Recap: Sand Creek Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Sand Creek was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Falcon Falcons. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Scorpions of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-12, 18-25, 25-18.

Simone Jackson paced Sand Creek's offense, picking up nine kills. Jackson got some help from Jasyra Corpus and her 24 assists. Jackson was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Sand Creek's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Falcon, they pushed their record up to 11-4 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Sand Creek will square off against rival Sierra at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Falcon is set to face off against their familiar foe Elizabeth at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
