Brookville won the last time they faced West Branch, and Kellan Haines did his part to make sure it happened again. The Brookville Raiders strolled past the West Branch Warriors with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 66-49 thanks in part to Haines, who went 10-for-17 on his way to 27 points along with five rebounds and four steals. Thanks to that strong game, he now owns an excellent 45.6% shooting accuracy.

Luke Burton was another key player, putting up 16 points. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in assists (four).

The victory made it two in a row for Brookville and bumps their season record up to 13-6. As for West Branch, they suffered their first home defeat, dropping their record down to 19-3.

Brookville wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 60-57 loss against Eisenhower on the 10th. As for West Branch, they will take on North Star at 6:45 p.m. on Friday.
