Summit Christian Academy's loss ends three-game winning streak on the road

It was a good run, but the Summit Christian Academy Eagles unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Tuesday. They were dealt a 64-37 loss at the hands of Barstow. Summit Christian Academy lost against Barstow in their previous head to head back in January, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 49-48 score last time.

Summit Christian Academy's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Mike Thomas iii, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Bajj Walker, who scored four points.

Summit Christian Academy's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 17-6. As for Barstow, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-5.

Summit Christian Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 78-40 win vs. Lone Jack on the 9th. Barstow will stay at home for another game and welcome Van Horn at 8:00 p.m. on February 13th. Van Horn will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Missouri Rankings (they are ranked 305th, while Barstow is ranked 90th).
