            Basketball Recap: Bastrop Rams vs. Carroll Bulldogs        
        
		
        
        
            After a string of five wins, Bastrop's good fortune finally ran out  on Friday. They fell  65-58 to the Carroll Bulldogs. The Rams lost against the Bulldogs in their previous head to head  back in January, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the  76-19 score last time.

 Despite the  loss, Bastrop had strong showings from  Antron Mason II, who  posted 21 points along with seven  rebounds and four  steals, and  Lebron Deal, who  earned 23 points and four  steals. Mason II's evening made it ten games in a row in which  he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Devin Tyson, who  put up seven points and five  rebounds.
Bastrop's defeat dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Carroll, they pushed their record up to 9-7 with the  victory, which was their sixth straight  at home.
