Basketball Game Preview: Rosemead Panthers vs. Edgewood Lions

A feisty cat fight will be fought as the Panthers take on the Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Rosemead is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They walked away with a 53-42 win over San Luis Obispo Classical Academy. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Panthers.

Meanwhile, Edgewood humbled Summit Leadership Academy with a 56-25 victory.

Edgewood has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 14-16 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 30.7 points. As for Rosemead, their record is now 14-12.

Everything came up roses for Rosemead against Edgewood in their previous meeting back in December of 2015, as the team secured a 78-47 victory. In that game, Rosemead amassed a halftime lead of 48-21, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Tuesday.
