Basketball Game Preview: West Salem Titans vs. Sprague Olympians

The West Salem Titans will take on the Sprague Olympians at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Last Tuesday, West Salem earned a 73-65 victory over South Salem. The Titans have beaten the Saxons the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Saxons has come to flipping the script.

Meanwhile, with a playoff win on the line, Sprague rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They blew past the Vikings, posting a 69-42 win. The victory was familiar territory for the Olympians, who have now won 11 contests in a row.

Sprague pushed their record up to 18-4 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 24.7 points. As for West Salem, their victory bumped their record up to 14-10.
