Basketball Recap: Skyline Takes a Loss

Skyline was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were outmatched by the Cedar Hill Longhorns and fell 87-27. While losing is never fun, the Raiders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 558th, while the Longhorns are ranked 20th).

Skyline's defeat dropped their record down to 6-20. As for Cedar Hill, their win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 20-6.

When Skyline and Cedar Hill next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Skyline will square off against Duncanville and their seven-game winning streak at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Cedar Hill will try to stop Lancaster's three-game winning streak when the meet at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
