Recap: Baptist Hill Bobcats vs. Lowcountry Leadership NaviGators

There's no place like home for the Baptist Hill Bobcats, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Tuesday. They breezed by Lowcountry Leadership at home to the tune of 46-17 on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Baptist Hill also won the last time the pair played back in January.

Baptist Hill's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Shaniah Townsend led the charge by almost dropping a double-double on nine points and 11 steals. Townsend is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last five games she's played. Another player making a difference was Sharice Blufton, who scored nine points along with eight steals and five rebounds.

Baptist Hill's win bumped their record up to 5-11. As for Lowcountry Leadership, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-17.

Baptist Hill won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Burke at 6:30 p.m. on February 3rd. Hopefully Burke focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 38 on Friday. As for Lowcountry Leadership, they will head out on the road to square off against Northwood Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Northwood Academy has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 898 points over their last 14 matches.
