Baseball Recap: Hampton Roads Academy Takes a Loss

Hampton Roads Academy lost against Norfolk Academy back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Navigators came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 9-2. The Navigators have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hampton Roads Academy saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was George Kokolis, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI.

Hampton Roads Academy's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Norfolk Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 10-8.

Looking ahead, Hampton Roads Academy will challenge Catholic at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Crusaders have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.2 runs per game on average), something the Navigators will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Norfolk Academy, they will square off against Kellam at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Knights' pitching crew has only allowed 3.4 runs per game this season, so the Bulldogs' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
