 The Heron Lake-Okabena/Fulda Coyotes were the  65-49 winner over the Edgerton Flying Dutchmen when they last played one another  back in February of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Heron Lake-Okabena/Fulda fell  61-50 to Edgerton on Monday. Heron Lake-Okabena/Fulda has now  taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 When it comes to explaining why Heron Lake-Okabena/Fulda lost, one person who can't be blamed is  Logan Hattendorf. Despite the final result, he  scored 18 points along with eight  rebounds.  Sam Goedtke was another key contributor,  scoring 14 points along with five  rebounds.
 Heron Lake-Okabena/Fulda has  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost 12 of their last 14 matches,  which put a noticeable dent in their 3-17 record this season. As for Edgerton, their victory  ended a 13-game drought at home  dating back to last season and  bumped them up to 5-16.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Heron Lake-Okabena/Fulda will take on Adrian/Ellsworth at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked  in Minnesota (Heron Lake-Okabena/Fulda is ranked 388th, while Adrian/Ellsworth is ranked 395th). As for Edgerton, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Murray County Central at 7:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Edgerton is facing Murray County Central at the right time seeing as Murray County Central is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
