Softball Recap: Eagle's View Takes a Loss

Eagle's View was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 12-9 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cornerstone Classical Academy Spartans.

Eagle's View got a massive performance out of Havana Gonzalez, who went 2-for-4 with four RBI, one triple, and one run. Those RBI marked the first that Gonzalez has brought in this season. Emilie Christie was another key player, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Eagle's View's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Cornerstone Classical Academy, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Eagle's View will welcome Harvest Community at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Eagle's View's pitchers better be ready for this one: Harvest Community has averaged an impressive 16 runs per game this season. As for Cornerstone Classical Academy, they will be playing at home against Old Plank Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
