McLouth strolled into their game on Thursday with a perfect record and they left with the same. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Atchison County Tigers a 14-0 shutout. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bulldogs also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2024.

The team relied heavily on Charley Coffin, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March. Gretchen Copeland also deserves some recognition as she scored her first run of the season.

McLouth's win was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-0. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.5 runs on average over those games. As for Atchison County, they are on a 27-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-18.

McLouth will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Tigers: the pair will be back at it again later today.
