Soccer Recap: Bloomfield Comes Up Short

Bloomfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Owen Valley Patriots. Bloomfield were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Owen Valley apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Bloomfield's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Owen Valley, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Bloomfield has already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Washington Catholic on the 2nd. As for Owen Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 6-1 win against Mitchell on the 2nd.
