Basketball Recap: Mechanicville Takes a Loss

If Mechanicville was riding high fresh off their 59-24 takedown of Hoosic Valley last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Mechanicville Red Raiders were dealt a 72-34 defeat at the hands of the Greenwich Witches on Saturday. The Red Raiders have struggled against the Witches recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Mechanicville's loss dropped their record down to 15-5. As for Greenwich, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 20-0.

As of now, neither Mechanicville nor Greenwich have any future games scheduled.
