Soccer Recap: Hoggard Has No Trouble Against Grimsley

After failing to score in their last matchup, Hoggard made sure to put some goals up on the board against Grimsley on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 6-1 margin over the Whirlies. Ari Tanner was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.

Hoggard's win bumped their record up to 3-1-1. As for Grimsley, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Hoggard will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Heide Trask at 6:00 p.m. on the 4th. As for Grimsley, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 2-2 draw against Northwest Guilford on the 27th.
