Baseball Recap: Wilson Bulldogs vs. Berks Catholic Saints

Wilson had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They walked away with a 7-2 victory over the Berks Catholic Saints on Thursday. The win was nothing new for Wilson as they're now sitting on three straight.

Christo Hunsicker made a big impact no matter where he played. He pitched six innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits. Hunsicker has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't pitched less than five innings in four consecutive pitching appearances. Hunsicker was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.

In other batting news, Nick Fiorini was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-3. Jack Gabel was another key contributor, going 1-for-3 with three stolen bases, a triple, and a run.
