Basketball Recap: St. Louis Christian HomeSchool K Takes a Loss

St. Louis Christian HomeSchool K lost against Rockwood Summit back in January of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The St. Louis Christian HomeSchool K Knights lost to the Rockwood Summit Falcons on the road by a 65-47 margin. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Loss or not, St. Louis Christian HomeSchool K got some senior leadership from Nathan Reed and Michael Leine. Reed went 7 for 12 on his way to 20 points, while Leine posted five points in addition to nine rebounds and five assists. The contest was Reed's tenth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jarrett Johnson, who put up six points and three steals.

St. Louis Christian HomeSchool K's defeat dropped their record down to 12-15. As for Rockwood Summit, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.

St. Louis Christian HomeSchool K will take on Union in a tournament on Saturday. As for Rockwood Summit, they will face off against Eureka at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
