Greeneville has gone  a perfect 9-0 against North Greene recently and they'll look to pad the win column further  on Friday. The Greene Devils will host the Huskies  at 5:30  p.m. Both teams are coming into the  matchup red-hot, with Greeneville sitting on  three straight  wins and North Greene on six.
While Greeneville's  victory against Cherokee wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Greene Devils narrowly escaped with a  win as the  squad sidled past the Chiefs  6-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  victory the Greene Devils have posted  against the Chiefs since April 5, 2022.

 Brynlee Jones was a  major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she  didn't allow a single  earned run and  allowed only two  hits while striking out 15 over six innings pitched. Those  15  strikeouts gave  her a new career-high. She was also big at the plate,  going 1-for-3 with one  run, one  double,  and one  RBI.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Kyla Jobe, who  went 3-for-4 with two  stolen bases, two  runs,  and one  triple. She is  on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as she's  now  snagged  at least one in each of the last three games she's  played.
 Greeneville  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 11  hits. They are 11-2 when  they post 11 or more  hits.
 Meanwhile, North Greene won against South Greene  on Monday with nine  runs and they decided to stick to that  run total again  on Thursday. The Huskies came out on top in a nail-biter against Cloudland, sneaking past  9-7. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  win the Huskies have posted  since May 16, 2024.
 Greeneville pushed their record up to 15-13 with the  victory, which was their fourth straight  on the road. Those  road  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 14.3 runs over those games. As for North Greene, their victory bumped their record up to 11-3.
 Greeneville took their  win against North Greene  in their previous matchup  on April 4th by a conclusive  23-10 score. Do  the Greene Devils have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Huskies turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
