Basketball Recap: Abilene Christian Takes a Loss

Fans were treated to a battle of the Panthers on Saturday. Abilene Christian took a blow against Frenship Memorial, falling 89-45.

Nate Presley and Liam Thomas certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Presley posted eight points and six assists, while Thomas scored eight points. Another player making a difference was Kamdan Allen, who had eight points.

Abilene Christian's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Frenship Memorial, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Abilene Christian will welcome Midland Classical Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Frenship Memorial, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Coronado at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Panthers will be up against the Mustangs' rather soft defense (which has allowed 56.25 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
