Marymount had already won 12 in a row and they went ahead and made it 13 on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the JSerra Catholic Lions.

Marymount never let JSerra Catholic on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-23.

Makenna Barnes paced Marymount's offense, picking up nine kills. Barnes got some help from Olivia Penske and her 20 assists. Barnes was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Marymount's victory bumped their record up to 30-2. As for JSerra Catholic, their loss dropped their record down to 14-10.

Marymount didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Sunrise Mountain on the 27th. As for JSerra Catholic, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Fossil Ridge on the 27th.
