Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the seven-run drubbing they dealt Lighthouse Private Christian Academy on Wednesday. The Patriots were the clear victors by an 8-1 margin over the Stingrays. Eight seems to be a good number for the Patriots as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association let Levi BOWMAN and Luke WINTER run wild. BOWMAN went 1-for-2 with three RBI, one run, and one double, while WINTER went a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Those three RBI gave BOWMAN a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Josiah PULLING, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 games. That's provided a massive bump to their 19-7-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.4 runs on average over those games. As for Lighthouse Private Christian Academy, with the defeat, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 19-7.
