Football Game Preview: University Prep Panthers vs. Anderson Cubs + How To Watch

Two dominant signal callers in Talis Payne and Cooper Crye are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The University Prep Panthers will look to defend their home field on Friday against the Anderson Cubs at 7:30 p.m. University Prep has given up an average of 30.4 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

University Prep is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 49 points last Friday, they were much more limited against Lassen on Friday. They had to suffer through a 35-6 loss at the hands of the Grizzlies. The Panthers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-0.

Meanwhile, Anderson and Yreka were almost perfectly matched up on Friday, but Anderson suffered a 15-14 loss. The Cubs haven't had much luck with the Miners recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Anderson's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for University Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.
