Football Recap: Oakcrest Triumphs

Oakcrest won the last time they faced Absegami and things went their way on Friday too. The Falcons walked away with a 26-14 victory over the Braves. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Falcons.

Oakcrest found their leader in freshman Zane Forest, who threw for 198 yards and three TDs. Jaden Harvey did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 121 receiving yards.

Oakcrest's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Absegami, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Coming up, Oakcrest will take on Cedar Creek on Friday. The Falcons will need to watch out since the Pirates have now posted at least 31 points in their last four games. As for Absegami, they will challenge Atlantic County Institute of Tech on Saturday.
