Orting barely beat Fife the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Cardinals simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Trojans 42-13. The Cardinals have beaten the Trojans the last four times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Trojans has come to flipping the script.

This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to Israel Shrode and Shiron Seniours. Shrode gained 175 total yards and a touchdown while Seniours gained 131 total yards and three touchdowns. Seniours got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 85 yards. Carson McCall was in the mix too, providing Orting with two scores.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Orting proved: they limited Fife to a paltry 2.3 yards per carry. While three picked up at least two total tackles, Shrode stood above the rest. He rushed for 136 yards and one TD on only five carries, and also picked up 39 receiving yards. Orting didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 11.4.

When it comes to explaining why Fife lost, don't look at Mattson Ducharme. Despite the final result, he threw for 209 yards and one touchdown.

Orting's record now sits at 3-0. As for Fife, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Orting didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 43-42 victory against Franklin Pierce on the 26th. As for Fife, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 42-0 win against Washington on the 25th.
