Baseball Recap: Alamosa Find Success

Alamosa won the last time they faced Pagosa Springs and things went their way on Saturday too. The Mean Moose came out on top against the Pirates by a score of 11-6. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Mean Moose.

Alamosa got a massive performance out of Brennan Maez, who went 1-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Those three RBI gave Maez a new career-high. Jonah Pittman was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4.

The win got Alamosa back to even at 7-7. As for Pagosa Springs, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 7-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Alamosa beat the Pirates by a score of 11-1 later that day.
