Soccer Recap: West Potomac Takes a Loss

West Potomac entered their matchup against Robinson on Thursday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Wolverines came up short against the Rams, falling 3-0. Having soared to a lofty four goals in the game before, West Potomac's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

West Potomac's loss dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Robinson, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-4-1.

West Potomac and Robinson should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Virginia Rankings. The Wolverines will challenge Lake Braddock at 7:15 p.m. on Monday with a big rank advantage (45 vs. 215). Meanwhile, Robinson (ranked 92nd) will meet Fairfax (ranked 245th) at 7:15 p.m. on May 2.
