There's no place like home for Columbian, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 16-13 win over the Huron Tigers on Friday. This was payback for the Tornadoes, who suffered a 38-20 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Columbian found their leader in sophomore Nolan Miller, who picked up 125 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Columbian's run defense was locked in: Huron could only muster 2.1 yards per carry. That's the most yards per carry they've managed all season.

Despite the loss, Huron still got an impressive performance from Landon Hohler, who threw for 177 yards and one TD while completing 77.3% of his passes, and also punched in one score on the ground.

Columbian's record now sits at 2-3. As for Huron, they now also have a losing record of 2-3.

Looking ahead, Columbian is taking a road trip to take on Sandusky at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tornadoes will be up against the Blue Streaks' rather soft defense (which has allowed 41.4 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Huron, they will face off against Port Clinton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Tigers' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
