Football Recap: Servite Starts Season with Loss on the Road + How To Watch

Servite kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They were beaten by the Centennial Huskies 42-14. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it six in a row.

Although Servite took the loss, they still got scores from Benjamin Harris and Jacob Jackson.

Even if they lost, Servite's defensive line still kept up the pressure with three sacks. Sevelino Taliauli was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up two himself.

Leading Centennial to victory were Dominick Catalano and Malaki Davis. Catalano threw for 330 yards and four touchdowns, while Davis gained 117 total yards and three touchdowns. Those four passing touchdowns gave Catalano a new career-high.

Coming up, Servite will look to takes advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they takes on Murrieta Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Centennial, they are headed away from home for the first time to take on Santa Margarita at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
