Softball Recap: Garnet Valley Comes Up Short

Garnet Valley was the 6-5 winner over Haverford when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. The Jaguars fell 7-3 to the Fords on Wednesday. The Jaguars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Garnet Valley saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alaina Sareyka, who went 1-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Garnet Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Haverford, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Garnet Valley is set to square off against their familiar foe Upper Darby at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Haverford will challenge rival Lower Merion at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday.
