Soccer Recap: Paintsville Comes Up Short

Paintsville lost against Belfry back in August, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Tigers lost 8-1 to the Pirates. Paintsville have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Paintsville's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Belfry, their win bumped their record up to 4-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Paintsville will challenge Shelby Valley at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Paintsville will be up against Shelby Valley's rather soft defense (which has allowed 6.78 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Belfry, they will host Hazard at 8:30 p.m. on Thursday.
