Volleyball Recap: Four Straight Road Wins for Riverside

Riverside's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They came out on top against the Bridges Prep Buccaneers by a score of 2-0.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Riverside was: they took both sets by at least 13 points. The final score came out to 25-6, 25-12.

Laila Bowden paced Riverside's offense, picking up seven kills. Bowden got some help from Kaitlyn Haroski and her 13 assists. Finally, Nevaeh Hays and Addesyn Dingle kept the team grounded on defense, each having blocked three attacks.

Riverside pushed their record up to 12-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Bridges Prep, the loss snapped their winning streak at four matches and leaves them with a 4-3 record.

Coincidentally, Riverside and Bridges Prep will both be playing Cartersville the next time they take the court. The Buccaneers will head out to face the Hurricanes at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Warriors will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
